About the Role
We are looking for an Apprentice IT Specialist for System Integration (m/f/d) to support and strengthen our Technical Support team at our Leipzig location, starting August 1, 2023. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience working with our e-commerce warehouse management system pixi, supporting customers, maintaining software solutions, and contributing to internal IT and project initiatives.
Technical Support & Software Maintenance
- Analyze, reproduce, and resolve technical issues within the pixi software environment
- Provide technical support to existing customers via phone and written communication
- Act as a reliable technical contact for troubleshooting and system-related inquiries
System Integration & Service Delivery
- Execute service tasks to customize systems and interfaces
- Support the integration and optimization of customer-specific solutions
- Assist in the analysis, development, and testing of bug fixes
Documentation & Quality Assurance
- Create and maintain technical specifications and documentation
- Perform structured analyses and testing to ensure software quality and stability
Internal IT & Project Support
- Provide internal IT support to colleagues
- Support project management activities and cross-functional initiatives
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth technical operations

Your Qualifications
- General or subject-specific higher education entrance qualification
- Very good German language skills
- Good written and spoken English skills
- Confident use of Microsoft Windows and Office
Nice to Have
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
- Fundamental programming skills, particularly in web applications
- Initial experience in e-commerce and/or customer support
